Can someone tell me how to disable an LDAP account in NS Directory Server?
Have you tried managing the password and account lockout policies?

That being said, please understand that I have no idea what you or I are talking about.
Not bad Tico, not bad.
Thanks. It isn't exactly what I was looking for, but it might work!
For my own reference and in case anyone else cares:
# /var/opt/netscape/servers/startconsole
cn=Directory Manager
pw=[enter password here]
Select the "Directory" tab, then expand "net" in the menu at left, then select "People".
Right click on the user in question. Select "Properties". In the popup window, select "Account", then "Inactivate" then "OK".
You can reactivate the account the same way. Obviously only good for existing accounts.
Oh, well sure. I assumed you had already tried that.
:wink:
