I don't think you can be a Wiccan and a Christian at the same time. Now, I don't know all that much about Wicca for sure, but I don't believe you can be both Wiccan and Christian. If I am correct doesn't Wicca (don't know if this is the right word so forgive me if it isn't) worship creation (earth, etc.)? You can't worship the creation and the Creator.
Frankie, I want to understand your spiritual journey a bit better...
I did a bit of reading and it appears there is a moderately organized group of people who refer to themselves as "Christian Wiccans". To answer Arella's questions, this is a monotheistic religion (i.e. they worship God, not nature) but draw on some of the traditions and rituals of Wicca.
It is clear from your posts that people in your life (who are Christians if I am reading correctly) who oppose your decision to follow this new religion. I know from experience that this can be a difficult thing.
I am wondering what is your reason for choosing the "Christian Wiccan" religion. Is there someone close to you who is is in this religjon? Or are you simply seeking for a religion where you feel comfortable in on your own?
I support your search for a religion that meets your values and your needs. However sometimes you can be hurt by religion. You need to make sure that the people you end up with are going to good for you. I don't know anything about this religion other than what I just read in the past 20 minutes.
I am also assuming that you are a teenager? If so you are in a time of change and working these things out is often difficult.
For you to try out a religion, or a few, before making a decision is a healthy thing. You don't need to make a life long decision right now..
Yeah i am 15 (and because of that people assume that i dont know much and that i am too young) but i chose it because i have grown up catholic and i dont really agree with everything and then i found out about wicca and then i thought what would happen if i mixed them together and so i reserched it and found out that some people are and that their morals are like mine and again it feels right to me.
