Welcome to the forum, frank. If you don't care what we think, why bother to ask us what we think?

For that matter, why bother to tell us what you think?

Neo thats pretty brutal (but an understandable reaction) esp for a kid trying to get his thought processes sorted.

Frankie I wouldnt know a chritian wiccan from a muslum wiccan. so you can tell me what it means to you.

should warn you I am able to play devils advocate reasonably well so dont get your nose out of joint if I dissagree with you, just present your thought and arguments and give due consideration to mine.

My first question to you is why do you need a religion at all?

Blessed be.

so it feels right. I can see that.

What makes this system of beliefs better than other systems of belief?

Oh no im not saying this is the only way, i understand that every1 believes in different things and i respect that but for me it feels right because the beliefs and morals are the same as my own.

Again I say, why do you need a religion/sytem of beliefs? You already have a system of beliefs.

Is it that you need validation of your own system of beliefs.

You said the beliefs and morals Of (christian wicca i assume) are the same as your own. Therefore you already have a system of beliefs and morals which is what a religion is. Correct?
Look up validation in a dictionary if you dont understand the word.

The only reason I can see for you to want to belong to a religion is because you need other people to validate your system of beliefs. otherwise you dont really know if your system of values is good or acceptable to society.

If being a christina wiccan feels right to you....then it's right for you. It's as simple as that.

No matter what your belief system is, you will find people who don't agree with it.

If you feel it's the right path for you, follow it.

Christian wiccan...hmm..why not?
The differences between the two are superficial.
Just start calling 'god' 'goddess' , espouse any number of white light holier-than-thou beliefs, and away you go.

Being a Wiccan , I question someones ability to be a 'christian' wiccan...

I guess it is possible, but the things that a Wiccan stands for, is usually not accepted in the mainstream church.

Let me amend my post.

I can no longer say I am a 'Wiccan' as, even Doktor S knows, mainstream Wicca is turning into a love and light, don't shave your body , last stand against the man religion.

I hate that.

I started as a Wiccan and it was a great springboard to get me to where i am spiritually now. But I study all types of religion and if I were to lay it out in black and white, my religion would not fall into any labeled parameters.

Due to that, I can see how anyone can fuse one religion to another. Wether I agree with it or not, it is possible. And if that is what feels right to you then go with it. Wear it proudly and dont back down for fear of being accepted.

That would be my only advice
