To be honest with you, it sounds like crap, but did you know that in Britain, people seeing this movie have been running out of cinemas shocked, often screaming and shaking, leading to ambulances being called? Just like The Exorcist in the 1970s.

I haven't seen any of the "Saws," but I have seen the previews which
lead me to believe that we've come a long way since the Friday 13th
style of films which I did see. I heard that "Hostel" was also rather
brutal.
Where will it end?
I mean how far can they and will they go?

I recently read about (but did not see) an Australian horror film called "Feed" which was made in 2005. It has been described as the sickest, most disgusting movie of all time.

I have seen the first Saw movie and thought it was pretty entertaining. Got the second one here on DVD but not had time to watch it yet.

There don't seem to be many truly scary movies anymore. Films like The Shining which is really scary without being gory.
