HISTORY


What is history; do you know?
It is a story, myth and lore...
Half is told while half is sold
in anonymous layers of multiple-folds...
then it is re-told!

The story revolves around how humans evolve....
each chapter with its unique spectrum of
colors and sounds and those deep wounds
that humans engraved upon human skin....
again and again....and again!

It is a Universal Law of profound action
eventually followed by an extreme reaction
with huge amount of bubbles and gas
and a significant layer of crusted salt....
whose fault?

Each set of experiments has its own name
The Egyptian Era of the Merciless Pharaoh
The struggle for Independence in various lands
but the chains are bound and locked around
one cause....survival!

So to effectively comprehend this ancient lore
each aspect and facet we have to explore
the pros and cons to balance the scales
of the ceaseless, continuous, treacherous circle....
of history.

No more to me
But then why do their words
stir me from deep inside?
Why does the music make me drowsy
why does it make me drown?
Completely down into a pool of emotion
where I can escape from all the commotion
They're all just strangers
No more can they be
Then why do I feel
understood?

I try writing poetry that's more abstract - but it always goes back to being more like a 'story'
I like the way yours are about feelings

It's been a long time since I've heard from you Endy but I believe that I don't have a right to complain as I have also been away for a long time, and only periodically dropping in.

Anyways, it's pleasant to hear this from you.


And that's exactly what's envious about your poems, no kidding.
They have an intensity in them that I have never really found in any other writer's words......especially the one you wrote about the kid living on the street -- the third one on your People's thread.
