And you're a naive fool for believing that garbage. The shrub always intended to invade Iraq.

It's likely he knew for a long time that the prospect of WMD in the hands of Saddam Hussein was an unacceptable risk which would probably never be resolved by inspections or dimplomacy. So what? It only means that he analyzed the situation correctly.

WMD's had nothing to do with it, as is evidenced by the fact that they are never mentioned now. Once it became clear that there were none, it suddenly morphed into the 'war on terror'.

This is not evidence that WMD were not the motivation. They are not mentioned much now simply because they weren't found. Do you have any other evidence to suggest that the danger they would pose if Saddam acquired them was not the actual motivation for the invasion?

How did I get to be part of this thread? You chicken-chimps might want to let me know the next time you decide to quote me.

Your statement made reference to the subject under discussion, and knowing how you like to spread your message far and wide, this chicken-chimp decided to quote you. If you don't want to be quoted, perhaps you'd better refrain from making the statements in the first place.

And, after much consideration, nah, I don't think I want to let you know next time I decide to quote you. But thank you for the suggestion.

It's more than just quoting, it's thread lifting. If you quote someone using the quote button, it's likely they will see it since they are part of that thread. This isn't the case here. I would think A2K would have something in the TOS that addresses this.

I am glad to see, however, that you recognized yourself in my response.
