The bike looks wonderful. As for the name: just call him Greg.

Broken record: Canadian shatters distance record at Redwood Acres Raceway
by Laura Provolt, 7/21/2006
Greg Kolodziejzyk broke two world records Thursday at the Redwood Acres racetrack on his recumbent bicycle "Critical Power."
After 24 hours of circling the track, Kolodziejzyk had covered 650 miles, breaking the previous record for distance traveled in 24 hours set by German Axel Fehlau in 1995.
.
According to Al Krause, a member of the Critical Power team, Kolodziejzyk also broke Fehlau's mega meter record, traveling 1,000 km in 23 hours and 24 minutes.
.
According to Kolodziejzyk, he became interested in trying to break this record two years ago, after retiring and selling his small business in Calgary, Alberta. Kolodziejzyk teamed up with the Human Powered Vehicle Association to design and construct the vehicle.
.
"What appeals to me is the combination of the physical challenge and the technical challenge," Kolodziejzyk said. "To break this record, it takes a technically superior design, and of course the athletics part appeals to me as well."
