Bangs, perhaps. ("Fringe" is the British term for "bangs.")

I thought this was some Paris Hilton thing, but really I have no idea.

The longer the fringe on the scarf grandma made you for Christmas, the larger your inheritance will be.

Could "fringe size" really be "fringe benefits"?

If so, I don't think "fringe benefits" are inheritable.
