Are the Vikings going to armed and wearing chain mail? If so, i'd say bears don't have a chance. But if not, i'd say bears could rip the **** out of a crowd of loud-mouthed Norwegians, and not even break a nail.

I can't vote unless i know if the Vikings are going to be armed and amored. If so, i vote Vikings. If not, bears will eat them alive--literally . . .

I have a inexplicable respect for the Bears, jpin, almost the opposite of my disdain for the Packers, but this particular game will expose the weaknesses of the Bears, and especially on offense.

I look for the Vikings to handle them with ease.

My address, so you know where to send the check, is....

What gus said. Except the part about respect for the Bears, I have almost as much disdain for the Bears as I do the Packers. Go Giants! I picked the Vikings.

Jane, I have an assignment for you. I will be in San Diego for a wedding later this month and will need to rent a car to get back to the Midwest.

What would be the best car rental agency to contact?

Once you give me the answer I would appreciate if you would refrain from further participation in this thread.

Thank you,

Gustav

Like CJ, I am also a German immigrant. I voted before you posted that, Gus.

What do you think of the vote tally so far?

The bears offense has never been their strength. While I'm not expecting a blow out as it has been the last two games, I fully expect to see at least image of (nearly 40 year old) Brad Johnson picking some grass, or turf in this case, out of his mouth as a bears defender scampers into the opposite endzone with football in hand.

But rationalization is one of the strongest human traits...

Oh and my checkbok is ready. I stopped by the bank last night and grabbed a few extra deposit slips on the way out. I think I'll fill one out tonight in preparation of the envelope from you... could you have it postmarked by the 27th by any chance? I'd like to get my sister a nice birthday present and your contribution will really help.

Hey! How about if we include your sister in this bet?
