"Jakob the Liar"

Today I watched the movie, "Jakob the Liar" which was about Jewish man who lied to keep hope among the hopeless Jews in Nazi hands. The movie disgusted me, especially when he was tortured [drowned reapeatly and being taken out right before he fully drowns, and then beated up]. I felt really sick to my stomache after watching it.
And thinking that was actually done in reality... How could people have DONE that???

lol, well if u read correctly u'd see that before the "How could people have DONE that?" there was another sentence which was "And thinking that was actually done in reality".. so yes, I meant the first option.

How they could have done it is that the nazis were the filthiest vermin ever to infect this planet.

Unfortunately for all decent people in the world the next round of this kind of vermin is already with us.

What you describe before the "beaten up" part is called "waterboarding". Note that it isn't torture by the nomenclature of the present US government.

I have not watched the movie, but did read the book. It's frustrating, but very impressive.

There's a book for "Jakob the Liar"? I never knew that!
Hmm.. maybe I should stuck with books. I remember the movie too often now, and it gets annoying.
And what do you mean by that sentence saying that its not torture? How the hell is that NOT torture?
That's playing with a person's life, leaving a milimeter between life and death, abusing a person [God, that must hurt! --he coughed up blood!]
and you say its not torture?

And did I hear you say its IMPRESSIVE? What??? What was so impressive about a story like that?
