Well, changing an avatar means changing one's life, I think.

It's all so sudden! It's all so fast!

I did think Craven's choice of avatar was pretty ... interesting.

The more things change the more they stay the same - so I've been told.

i'm partial to anyone with dogs.

but the reason i'm here is to tell edgarblythe that he is a doppleganger for an actor in california -- an absolute dead ringer.

Patio's photo is from Shakespeare Santa Cruz. They have a reputation for presenting unusual modernized versions of Shakespeare -- innovative, strange, controversial.

Damn, CodeBorg, I'm trying to keep things confidential around here!

Actually, they used to be known for unusal modernized versions of Shakespeare, back when Danny Scheie was the artistic director. Now it's the typical half-pseudo-faithful schlock of most regional American Shakespeare. No more old English women in Peter Pan suits flying through the redwoods on aircraft cable...

Doesn't he look like e-blythe, though, or is it just me?

I think the actor kinda looks like Gary Oldman. I think Edgar looks like...I don't know who.

I chose mine because I love Catlin--and I just got back from Tulsa where I got to see some of his paintings at the Gilcrease Museum. It was very cool, especially because my cousin showed me around. You Tulsans are lucky to have such a great resource for Western art!

I chose my avatar because Lovey was threatenin' to divorce me, an' this distracted her . . . she just loves that lil' doggie . . .

D'Artagnan, glad to hear you were able to tour Gilcrease -- it's a treasure. I wondered if you chose that avatar because of heritage or a love of western art.
