on a day when the moon is warm and the sun is strange//
the dusken sky is illumine, tinted red from a blaze//
solemnly i submit myself into this war we wage//
of mushroom clouds, impure air and never ending days//
homesickness set in early wish i could whisk the time away//
but aware that any moment i could expire, i pray i die another day//
i long for the beauty of my city, as emerald as it is//
and long for the future that awaits me, and all its strangeness//
rayray, I can tell you one thing: you keep spelling your words with mixed capital letters, and I'll never look at any more of your posts. c.i.
Very true. I've seen several of these, and only looked at this one because c.i. was the last respondent.
