What was the name of that old b&w movie where a man & woman were mad as hell at each other but ended up kissing half way through the fight?

There must be twenty thousand old films where that happens.

No---Virginia Wolfe iisn't what i'm looking for. They never kiss.

There was an old movie where the two were fighting and within a minute or so they were kissing.

What else do you know about the movie? Actors names? Have you tried using the IMDB?

I remember the movie well. They were fighting like hell, rolling around in the ocean punching each other, then suddenly they climbed onto a rock and started kissing.

A great friggin' movie!

"It Happened One Night"with Clark Gable and Collette Coburn (sp?).

(Gus, that mermaid movie enchanted back when I was a little girl watching it on a Saturday afternoon. I sooo wanted to live in that pool. I wanted that even more than "I Dream of Jeannie"'s bottle. )

So, you have a weakness for William Powell, huh, Greenwitch?

Nice to know.

William Powell seemed different, a little jazzier than the rest.

I've squeezed into my tail. Can you see me doing a back flip here in the pool:

That's an actual frame from the movie. Don't you remember the mermaid swimming around at the bottom of the pool? For some reason it looked just like a fish tank.

I actually never saw the movie. As a matter of fact, I had never heard of it until today.

You'll love it. Go find it at half.com or see if you can get it from Netflicks or maybe Lightwizard will have a copy he could loan you.
