Hi, I believe I recently acquired a virus, which will not let me allow to change my home page... it brings it up as
http://www.safetyhomepage.net/
and I tried chaning my homepage by going to the internet options and changing it, but it still it won't work... how do I delete this program that keeps by address to that safetyhomepage thing? thanks

It is a bit long, but gives the procedure for removal quite clearly.
I found this by searching using google with safetyhomepage as the search term, if you would like to find other sources.
As with the thread on that other site post back here with a HJT log and the Ewido log so we can see what's happened.
Also ... please tell us how your computer is operating after you worked through the fixes.
That post did the trick! everything is fine now... i don't have a log of what happened, sorry... but rest assured following everything on that site step by step will get rid of it
