Hello Folks need some help about acer aspire 5672,100GB,1Gb Ram
XP home,ATI X1400. I don't know why the sound quality is so poor i try to update the realtek HD driver but does not work. SO please owner of the 5672 please let me know if u have this kind of problem. everything is good but sound is sucks even i cant here the sound of others while am chatting with messenger. so please let me know if u guys have any idea to get rid of this problem.

External, powered (or USB) speakers of reaonable quality - say, something in the $25 - $50 range or so - will make a huge difference. Decent sound from built-in speakers is not a common attribute of laptops. That's a pretty impessive machine, otherwise, BTW - I don't have one myself, but a couple folks I know do, and like 'em pretty well, apart from running hot, mediocre battery life, so-so camera (but what the heck - its got one) and, no surprise, typical laptop sound; in both cases, decent outboard speakers proved more than satisfactory.
If sound is real important, look into an external USB 5.1 or 7.1 sound card and appropriate speakers - more money, yeah, but lots more sound.
