Since you are building a power machine, why not consider a DVD that has write capabilities? It will give you easier back-ups and allow for vidio recording in the future.
I'm old school. I'd spend the extra $6.00, or so, to put in a floppy drive. I still use it a lot to move small files from one computer to another and to take e-mail addresses on the road if I'm going to use someone elses computer.
O yeah, thnx i forgot the floppy drive...
Damn! You win the lottery or selling Crack to afford that machine?
a few things
1) forget ECC ram, there's no point and it adds overhead.
2) why do you need RAID? if this is for home, you might want to go with just SATA
3) if you give the exact mainboard model it would help
otherwise, looks pretty good
