Wow, amazing upset although everyone has been touting Lisicki's serve. Stephens/Puig is going into the third.

@Lordyaswas,
Lisicki always said (and says it just now again) "Wimbledon is my home court!".

At the Wimbledon Championships, Lisicki was seeded twenty-third. She beat Francesca Schiavone 6–1, 6–2 in the first round, Elena Vesnina 6–3, 6–1 in the second round and fourteenth seed Samantha Stosur 4–6, 6–2, 6–1 in the third round. In the fourth round she beat Serena Williams, the reigning champion in 3 sets; 6-2, 1-6, 6-4.
While we're enjoying Wimbledon, it's time to remember the 40th anniversary of the famous Wimbledon boycott. It's been 40 years since almost 80 of the top men's players in the world refused to play Wimbledon because a fellow pro was denied entry for not playing Davis Cup for Yugoslavia. 13 of the 16 seeds dropped resulting in a host of questionable players entering the draw and clay court expert Jan Kodes winning in the final. While no formal agreement was ever issued, the international tennis federations never again attempted to ban a pro from playing where they liked.
Currently, Lisicki is one set up, but is suffering a mini crisis in the second, trailing 3-1.
I'm very tempted to wiggle the ghoulie finger at Radwanska, but it seems very ungentlemanly.
