Static URL Help

Hello,

I have followed the Static URL text file only and doen all the changes to htaccess and placed in the forum directory, however it doesnt work, nothing happens whatsoever.

Do i need to follow the elements of the full SEO Mod for this to work?

Note i dont want to apply all features of the SEO mod just want to use the static url bit?

anyone????!?!?!?!

iv got the htaccess part to work, its just the PHP pages arent generating html links???
