Hi there,

I have followed your instructions(theres a lot there !) and now have my log ready.

All the scans didnt seem to report anything nasty but im sure I still might have a bug or 2.

While it woulda been useful to see the other requested logs and reports, overall, thats a relatively clean log apart from some startup clutter. However, I did notice something you may or may not wanna get rid of; Kontiki's P2P (file sharing) software. Though technically not yuckware, its known to be a bandwidth and resource hog, to "call home" with information specific to your machine and your useage of the app's associated services, to structure security and firewall exceptions for itself without letting you know about them, and to be a hassle to remove (among other cute little tricks, it starts on boot, protects itself from having its service stopped, scatters references and calls to itself all over your registry, and it always leaves the toothpaste tube uncapped and squeezed from the middle). Its found bundled (and undocumented) with a variety of proprietary mainstream media viewing apps, such as (but by no means limited to) AOL's "Hi-Q Delivery Manager", BBC's "iMP", and B-Sky-B's "Sky-by-Broadband", along with services or apps associated with OpenMediaNetwork and, oddly enough, Palm Support. Getting rid of Kontiki's pretty ineptly written, unacceptably manipulative and intrusive software will in most cases cripple the stuff that sneaks it onto your system, so its your call.
