Neopets time may be different than the time at your home, so Click Here to find out the NST.

Earn Extra Neopoints:

Beginner Players:
1. Make an account, and get 200 NP free. Then collect your Newbie Pack and put everything in your Safety Deposit Box.
2. Create a pet, and get 150 NP free, but do not go on a pet frenzy, because, right now, you wont be able to afford more than one pet.
3. Start a Bank Account, and deposit some or all NP made.
4. Go to the Soup Kitchen to feed your pet if you have under 2000 NP. Also getting free things like jellies and omelette are good.
5. Start a shop for 150 NP, and when-ever you get a rare item, or something good, look up the name in the Shop Wizard and see if it is worth a good amount of NP, then put it in your shop for a little bit less then what the lowest price was, and it will sell...maybe. This is called Restocking.
6. Play games, like Meerca Chase or Ultimate Bullseye for NP.

Advanced Players:
1. Look for good deals in the Trading Post and Auctions.
2. Try sending a neomail to a person who has an item in their shop that you want to buy that is priced at 100,000 NP, and ask them what they want for it. If it is a good deal, then do it, but do not do anything extreme for it.
3. Hidden Tower items are WAY to high, so do not buy it, unless you really want to.
4. Keep restocking, on higher and MORE expensive items.
5. Make sure you do not follow what the price is on the items information. I say this because sometimes the Neopets does not update the current prices of them. For example: Fire Faerie, they say on the information card that it is worth 767 NP, yet really it is worth well over 2000 NP.

Daily Do's:
1. Collect your Interest from the Bank, before you deposit NP in for that day.
2. Play Fruit Machine, and you might even win a Paint Brush.
3. Get some Omelette to feed your pet.
4. Get some Jelly to feed your pet.
5. Go to Coltzans Shrine, and your pet might get a stat boost (HP, Attack, Defense, Agility) or even an item.
6. Play Tombola, and you could win Bottled Faeries or Codestones.
7. In the month of December go to the Advent Calendar each day to get items and Neopoints.
8. Go to the Snowager at 6 am-7 am NST, 2 pm-3 pm NST, 10 pm-11 pm NST and you might get a random item.
9. Go to Healing Springs when your pet is sick, or wounded.

Meerca Chase:
There were a lot of "cheats" to help you in this game. There was a Super Hard Mode and then this Crazy Opposite Mode.
To my knowledge, both of these secrets are gone. One stupid secret is in the location of the Super Hard Mode. Its in the top right corner.
If you press the invisible button, a new cursor will appear. It doesn't do anything else.

Another stupid secret is that for only one time can you go foward then turn completely around.
When starting a game as the Meerca heads up, simply hit down.
This has no purpose except if you wanna turn around it's a faster way then pressing left/right then down.
