Canadians are fortunate to have seen Moon long before the NFL dared to sign him. He was the greatest. In 1950 we even had a native Canadian as quarterback: "Indian" Jake Jacobs, who is in our Hall of Fame as well.
Canadians chose talent over skin colour even then.

.
The class of '06 led by quarterbacks Moon and Troy Aikman and defensive lineman Reggie White is considered one of best ever to enter the Hall.

Also welcomed into the Hall under a brilliant sunshine, were offensive lineman Rayfield Wright, linebacker Harry Carson coach-turned-broadcaster John Madden and broadcaster Lesley Visser, the first woman to be enshrined.
.
But among the class of all-time greats, it was Moon who stood out not only as a pioneer but one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL.

Before he played in the CFL, Moon was a star here at the University of Washington...

We're proud of him, too!
