No sump pump? I haven't checked my basement. It's times like these that I'm glad I don't own my own place.

yeah, its times like these that being a homeowner ain't all its cracked up to be.

however we did catch a break, as it finally stopped raining, and the torrents began to subside... various puddles and such are currently being dealt with by an armada of 8 fans.

I hope you enjoy the cold rain in Boston, we just used it for five days here in New York and we enjoyed it and found it refreshing.

At least it isn't raining hard right now.

It has been raining here (NYC) for a fairly good while.
Small children are having to be shown videos of what the sun and the stars look like and they ask questions of their fathers as "Why is the sky gray? Their fathers weep.
Seattle has filed a lawsuit against New York claiming infringement on copyright and impersonation for fraudulent reasons, but most local lawyers say their case won't hold water.
Meanwhile, the citizens here enter places of business and shake themselves like sheepdogs then place their wet umbrellas upon the counters and wander up and down the store aisles, pretending to shop, waiting for the deluge to soften.

Tks for the rain - we need downpours for weeks to start filling the dams. And Melbourne (visited for Easter) looks even worse.

We have your spring!!! Well, Sydney in autumn is just lovely - absolutely the best time of the year!
