Just walked back from a lecture in another building ...brrrrrr. The university is compensating for the out side temp by over heating the buildings, which is guaranteed to stress your system...Colds anyone?

sunday afternoon report from the 2nd floor of the house:
15 degrees outside;
95 degrees in the bedroom (with the sun streaming in);
50 degrees in the guest room (back of the house, heating vent closed).
what's wrong with this pitcher??

interesting phenomenon: the colder it is outside, the more frequently the heat kicks on, and the hotter it is in the house. its an old house, slow to heat up & cool down. when we're on the 2nd floor we lower the therm to 57-58 degrees. when downstairs, we hafta nudge it up to about 62-65.

first major snow of january due to hit beantown tmrw night Sad

What's wrong with this pitcher? The 95 degrees in the bedroom fried your brains, and your spelling went all to hell. Wink

No kidding! But, maybe it would have just kept snowing instead of getting icy.
