@cicerone imposter,
Last week, we had had night/morning temperatures of -15°C, since Sunday, it's the same temperature at noon/in the afternoon ... but +15°C. (Saw a couple of bees and butterflies already, and our storks are back, too)

It was only foolish pride that kept me from using the car's air conditioning today. Tomorrow is a different day.

...and it was, with some snow still on the ground, the temperature today crept up to the 50° F mark.

It's enough to make me lose my mind (though many say it already done did left me).

Certainly meteorology is stupid.

However, imagine how stupid you would feel if you spent all day tunneling through the earth only to find out it is raining at your antipodes when you arrive. That is why you should have a look at Antiweather

That's interesting, Walter.

My antipodes appears to be somewhere in the middle of the north Atlantic. Weather is warmer, though!

@Walter Hinteler,

@jespah,
True Masshole here,
I relocated to the south two & a half years ago but I understand Massachusetts weather all too much.

It's been between 90-105 the past few weeks here in Arkansas with the exception of a few days where it rained for less than a full day each time.

On average, we get 25 meteorological summer days here during the year (that's days with 25°C [77°F] and above).
Yesterday, it was the 30th.

@Region Philbis,
That difference is one of the reasons why Manhattan-style clam chowder is essentially tomato soup with clams in it.
