@Region Philbis,
Once again, I thank you for your efforts in combating global warming. It's 50f in Farmington, NM, and I've been feeling guilty all day.

@Region Philbis,
I assume the right column is wind chill?

Hey you chose to live there. Hows skiing?

@farmerman,

no skiing for this boy -- got spooked in high school by a buddy who came back from a "fun ski weekend"
wearing a huge-mungus cast on his laig... i forget how many fractures he had, but there were several...

@Region Philbis,
RP, yesterday I was trying to explain to a native born Austinite what negative zero weather felt like. This was from my memories of 2 winters I lived in Wisconsin. She was maybe 22.

I completely lost her when I said sometimes the temp wouldn't get over zero for a few days at a time.

You sure never had to worry about your ice cream melting in the trunk of your car.

@chai2,
Gonna be 24 here Sunday night. High around 40.

There's a new lifeguard at the pool who just moved here from Puerto Rico. There lows will be around 75.

He's in shock.

Sheeesh!
No wonder the friends who migrated to Toronto have decided it's not for them. Flying out of Toronto today. Be home for Christmas - and it's HOT!

@ehBeth,
Multiple reasons - decision made a couple of months ago.

I think Keila got sick and tired of hearing how badly our trivia team was doing without her, so she came back to give us a push! Or some knowledge!

@Region Philbis,
I sympathize with you on this.

Alleged snow and cold to move in after hitting 60° today...

@Sturgis,
I see that, finally, intrepid tv reporters get to stand outside and proclaim, breathlessly, that it is snowing.
