It feels like summer here in Silicon Valley - in the mid-seventies.

I hope I didn't rush things.

Yes, yesterday's foggy, drizzly, intermittently rainy, 55 degree weather was the best we had all week.

Ok, these news reports about 4 days of rain here in new england are misleading.

~ 10 out of the first 15 days of May were rainy.
~ the forcast says that there will be rain for the next 7 days.
~ The average rainfall for the first half of may is 1.61 inches. We're at 11.11 inches right now.

I like rain, I like the lushness of our green. But, leaves are rotting and beaten. Blooms are retarded. AND, we haven't had any good thunder/lightning...... <mutter>

Sun? What's that?

Here's what I see when I check the Yahoo forecast for Columbus:

http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/us/we/52/11.gifhttp://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/us/we/52/11.gifhttp://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/us/we/52/11.gifhttp://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/us/we/52/37.gifhttp://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/us/we/52/11.gif

And this has been going on for a long time! I don't think we've had nearly as much total rainfall as you guys, though, overall it's been very gentle and with a lot of breaks. But GRAY and COLD and YUCKY. Bleh.

HA!

Methinks that most of you must have some British lineage, as I always though that it was only us that discussed the weather in such detail.

MARVELLOUS!

Carry on.

I'm hoping for an enormous sponge to be airlifted over the state. Careful of the squeeze.

PS The folks in Peabody who were evacuated, did they get to go home?
