MS Excel: Can I Hide AND password protect a column?

I know I can HIDE a column from view, but can I also assign a password that must be entered before unhiding it?

I don't think so, but you might be able to write a macro to unhide the column -- can you password-protect a macro? Hmm.

thanks, jespah...but I think I'll just go the easy route and p/w protect the entire worksheet.

Next time Bill G. and I are out having a beer, I'll ask him to make it so that individual columns can be p/w protected Smile
