Friends
Yeah right
Friends dont do what you did
Friends dont leave you empty handed
Friends dont lie
Friends dont intently make you cry
Friends dont be there for you only when they want to
Friends are honest and true
Friends keep your darkest deepest secrets
You can give them your heart and theyll keep it
And theyll return it in one piece
Well, I gave you mines
And you returned it sliced and diced
Not once but twice
Left me on the side of the road
Lonely and cold
And had the nerve to use the word friend
Called me your friend
Think again
You use what you knew
To chew me up and spit me out
I wish I knew you were about
Lies and deceit
I let you mistreat me
Thinking I had did something wrong
When all along
You would verbally abuse me
Apologize then use me
Waited until I was down in the dumps
To tell me my friendship you didnt want
Friendship dont end for no apparent reason
So apparently this friendship ended
Cuz you wasnt my friend in the beginning

My best friends my entire life have used and abused me except one. I don't have much in common with that person any more but we still hang out when i'm in town simply because we were True friends. The older i've gotten the more i realize they are extremely rare. sad.
