Setting up my new laptop. How do I place a program icon on my desktop (screen)? I want to place an icon for "my documents".
In Windows explorer....goto My Documents....right click it....select - send to. Choose Desktop (shortcut) ~~ Done

I tried doing that but then I scratched it off and used pen-and-ink. However, I didn't like where it was located. So, then I took some White-out and rewrote. I'm much happier now
