Last night I, without pushing my stomach out, I naturally looked about 6 months pregnant, yet this morning my tummy was alot flatter.
What happened?

MG, without wishing to enquire as to your No.2 situation (which may have made quite a difference), I would guess that it was bloating, probably caused by eating such foods as white bread or starchy stuff in reasonably large quantities.
If this happens regularly try cutting out all bread products for a week, eating a live yoghurt each day and scoffing salad until it comes out of your ears.

Any number of things can cause bloating, MG, even the heat has an effect when you aren't hydrating enough.

Foods that cause me to retain water include soy sauce, red wine, or anything overly salty. When it's hot you need to make doubly sure you are drinking lots of water.

Aunt flo isnt due for a couple of weeks.

Hmm, dunno,il have to look at salt content.
I eat mainly processed food so Id imagine the salt is high.I must start eating natural, fresh foods again.

Oh, the processed foods will get you every time!

Try eating as many veggies as possible. (Frozen is better than nothing, but fresh is best!)

Also, sugar is not your ally. Try replacing sweets with more whole grains and lean proteins, in addition to more veggies.

If you can't have yogurt, try an acidophilus supplement. It may help; and it's always good to boost the helpful bacteria in your belly. (They help keep away all sorts of harmful microorganisms.) You can find good ones in many grocery stores now, in addition to natural foods shops. I buy mine at Whole Foods Market. There is a fridge case in the vitamin aisle, where you'll find a good selection of brands. Make sure they've been properly refrigerated, as the good bacteria in them die off if they're not.

Okey.

Dont add sugar to anything anymore, the only time I do is for cereals but depends what Im eating, no sugar at the mo.

Havnt eaten chocolate since last week and even then I didnt eat it all!!!

I need to plan my food and cut out processed stuff.Especially in hot weather like this, I should be welcoming fresh food!!!

The only reason I mentioned it is because you women are always suffering from damned constipation.
When I was at college, many years ago, there was a group of girls who even devised a "Plop plop" chart, to see if there was any pattern to it, in relation to their singing bikes.

It is natural for the stomach to be flatter in the morning.

mat girl,
This may sound weird, but is there any possibility that you are malnourished?

There have been points where I have been malnourished without even realizing it until I went to the doctor. I'd get bloated up a lot. You'd notice a loss of weight / muscle though.

If your diet is bad, it is possible to eat a lot, feel full often, and yet still suffer malnourishment. It's quite common actually in 'rich' countries. People tend to fill up on junk, sugar, and carbs...

Anyhow, a vit/min fix-up can't hurt. Make sure you're getting everything you need.

Smile

It happens to me too!
Materialgirl, I have the same problem! I call it my pregnant belly. I work out a lot and have a pretty flat stomach but depending on what I eat sometimes at night I bloat...sounds attractive LOL! The good news is it's temporary.
