Which is the easiest way to transform Real player video files to .mpg, .mov or .avi, so I can play them with Windows media player, Winamp player or Quicktime?

Try Irfanview - its free, bundles no yuckware (if you're real paranoid, don't select the optional eBay toolbar at installation), and, especially when configured with its available plugins, is just about the Swiss Army Knife of graphics/media apps.
