Hello,

I look forward to reading the poems on the forum. I have only written about 10 poems before, but I really enjoy it. I


This Day will not Burn

Days are burned
As I painfully learn
Time is merely an illusion of my mind

Diving into blackness
An overwhelming burden on my back
I lock it in and am completely trapped

I drown and reach bottom
An evil face grins
I've finally been killed
By my own guilt and sin

Diving into the light
I reach bottom and find my ring
That symbolizes my engagement
To my Lord and King

This is the day that the Lord has made
I will rejoice and be glad in it

This day will not burn
