guten tag and bonjour.
I have this assignment and I must find allusions to the bible and greek/roman mythology in modern books, movies, stories, magazines, etc. I already have some, like the one in Moby Dick made by the Lieutenant, and any help would be much appreciated.

My Fair Lady, the musical and movie, comes from the Greek tale of Pygmalion.

East of Eden by John Steinbeck is based on the story of Cain and Abel in the bible.
