Unbelief is a cultural phenomena.
But the BIBLE is FACT.

Hell will be a cultural phenomena
And HEAVEN will be a christains FACT.

Now you must prove your point with empirical evidence. In order for something to be FACT you must be able to prove it.

ahh ok

A central concept in science and the scientific method is that all evidence must be empirical, or empirically based, that is, dependent on evidence that is observable by the senses.

That GOES TOTALLY AGAINST WHAT THE BIBLE TEACHES.

ITS NOT POSSIBLE NOR PLAUSIBLE.

Science only allows for a few senses.

Touch
Sight
Smell
Hearing
and Taste

Can God be touched? No.
Can God be seen? No.
Can God be smelled? No.
Can God be Heard? YES, MOST DEFINATELY YES.
Can God be Tasted? No.

God can be heard and there by being able to be heard I have NOW used (whatever that dumb word is) evidence of the proof of God.

scott, the voice in your head is not god Very Happy

Anyway, to propose such a notion that the bible is FACT is naive. Granted, it is a fact that there is a book called "the bible" or "book" as it translates.
But that isn't to say that what's in it holds truth.

There may be no lies in the bible. I cannot know.
But I know that it doesn't contain the whole truth, not in such a way that it can be understood without enterpetation. That makes the statement "the bible is FACT" rather inadequate.

Still I know where you're coming from in saying it. Thing is though, that the writings in the bible require so much of the reader to make sense that it can never be "unsubjective truth".

Scott,

"Facts" are popularly associated with "publicly observable evidence". Your claim to have "heard God" does not qualify as a public event.

The point I made some time ago is that "facts" themselves are considered to be "cultural phenomena" where "culture" in a macro-form might be termed " a scientific paradigm". Scientists do not seek "truth" or "proof". They seek "control" via working hypotheses and theories which undergo constant revision. Theories are sets of spectacles through which "events" are selectively observed. Those who wear "religious spectacles" will interpret events accordingly.

Fact:
I have seen people who should be have gotten hurt get up without a sratch at meetings in a church. Like one guy who fell backwards on day and hit his head really hard I MEAN HARD it made such a loud THWACK he should have had a lump on his head. He had no damage.

Fact:
I have seen evil men become good Because of the bible but every time they tried to be good without GOD they failed.

Fact:
I have seen hell.

Fact:
I have seen God as though looking through a smoky plain of Glass.

Fact:
I have seen the Son as though looking through a smoky plain of Glass.

Fact:
I have heard God call my name while asleep.

Fact:
I have heard God call my name while awake.

Fact:
I have heard God call my name while awake while out in a FOREST where THERE WAS NO ONE BUT ME AROUND.

By Taste. (while seeing hell i could taste the sulfur.)
By Smell. (while seeing hell i smelled the sulfur.)

scott,

FACT: Islamic fundamentalist hears Allah telling him to martyr himself by killing American infidels.

Your own "facts" are of exactly the same status as this.

Call me a LIAR if you wish.

BUT I CAN NOT SIT HERE AND TYPE THIS STUFF OUT AND SAY GOD DOES NOT EXIST.

That would be a lie.
I have seen, heard, felt, tasted, and smelled to much to be able to say God does not exist.

GOD EXISTS.
He has EMPIRICALLY proven himself to me.

((( O and by the way, thanks for reminding me of all that. I had forgotten all that stuff. )))

I WILL NOT DENY HIM.
JESUS IS JEHOVAH who is MY GOD and MY SAVIOUR, and MY LORD

I do not see a demon wanting this to be done.

Luk 6:28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

yeah, but that's from a book, not from the voice in your head, so it doesn't really answer the question.

DIFFERNT disposation and only Applied to the Jews.

The LAW the 10 commandments which applys to all people at all time everywhere does not allow this unless God says to remove something.

ANd he only said to the Jews to remove only certain enemies.

Thanks but your wrong.
