Adding material to CDs & DVDs

Can I add more music or pix to a disc later on? I'm not talking about writing over existing content, but adding stuff at a later date - new photos, for example.

TK it depends entirely on how you set up the CD/DVD in the first place.

If when you first burn you tell it to finalise the session but not the disk you can still add items (both with R and RW formats). Once the disk is finalised you can't change it. Remember each time you add stuff to the disk not to finalise the disk - only do that when you don't what to put any more on.

The down side of an unfinalised disk is that it may not be readable on all other computers, whereas once it's finalised all other computers can read it.
