Sorry. I was just throwing my opinion out there, trying to be honest and everything...I wasn't going to make you not swear. That's your choice, and I respect your decision, even though I may not agree with it.
And I never implied that you were working for the middle classes (not intentionally, at least). I understand fully that you are writing this story for yourself and no one else.
Anymore? - or shall we both get back to doing what we enjoy best?
You know, booklovr has done something here - I don't understand what exactly - but maybe they've done me a favour.
Sort of smacked me up against a wall
The story i was so involved with, suddenly seems light years away
It was always just a writing exercise, but i admit for a while i was into it
I don't know if i can 'feel' it anymore
booklovr has broken the spell for sure - but that might not be a bad thing
There is now a rebellious part of me that wants to write a main character that's a really bad-mouthed, immoral , nasty git - the type that booklovr would never approve of in a million years!!!
hmmm....
Shall I fold and start again?
(I'll take silence as a yes)
I'm sorry. I didn't mean to break your spell.
And I don't care you write about. If it happens to be a nasty, immoral person, I don't care.
You shouldn't let anyone discourage you, dude.
