I have been doing some research on payment gateways for an internet business.
It seems as if there are only about 3 or 4 out there that are the top companies that provide these services.
Does anyone have any opinions about any of them and which are more stable and reliable than the others.
I have heard good things about VeriSign PayFlow Pro. Also, some neutral things about Authorize.net. But then heard bad things about Card Services.
Any help that you have would be appreciated.

Most of the big gateways are very expensive. I prefer to have a basic merchant account and use shopping cart software to get the info to me and process the transactions manually.
If the transactions are numerous, paypal offers checkout buttons that link to your paypal account. Paypal fees are less than most of the big co's like VeriSign.
