what's the meaning of "genrewise"?
It means with regard to a genre. The term genre is most often used to refer to books or motion pictures which appeal to a specific interest--such as detective fiction or science fiction.
"Genrewise" appears to me to be a neologism--which is to say, whoever wrote the sentence in which you read this word made the word up, it did not exist prior to that sentence. I may be wrong, but it appears to me that the author made the word up.
Right -- there is no such word. I believe even when I've occassionally seen it used, it was hyphenated: genre-wise. Still not considered good style, however.
I am assuming I am the one brought this non word to angelina_kitty's attention:

It's true, it's not a word. I was asking if you had any preference to a particular genre of movie that you would be interested in watching so that I could give you some suggestions. I apologize for my misuse of the english language.
