I don't know about EVERYTHING turning red, Lezzles, but over the course of the next four or five weeks, this tree gradually changes through all the colours towards the red end of the spectrum, not like a normal tree that just goes from green to red.

You'll see what I mean, soon.

You think that's a willow, eh...? Next time you pass it with your camera, can you snap a shot of it's leaves close up?

I've googled for quite a while this morning (Oi, no funny comments), but I still can't seem to find it.....

But...here is the close up you asked for, LK.

If you can name it, I'll buy you an orange for Christmas!

We had a tree in old north north called a swamp willow... I don't remember its leaves offhand. I think it wasn't as stately as that tree.

I was thinking white willow (salix alba), but the pix I saw online don't have the downward reaching lower branches.

You don't even know what the hell a garter snake is, littlek, and you expect us to believe you could correctly identify a tree?

Please.

I don't know....I haven't hugged it yet.

(it was VERY soggy out there this morning, after a bit of flooding last night.)

I've tried zooming in Gus, but my nose touched the screen and I received a static shock on the left nostril.

Were you playing a joke on me?

I live for the moment when I can trick englishmen into pressing their noses into their monitors.

I sit here stateside and chuckle at the image.

I love it when you're being dominant like that, LK.

After I've calmed down, I'll pop down there and take a piccie.

I've recently come to the conclusion that you are a little weird, Gus.

Has this ever been mentioned by other members of A2K?

I pulled up an image of these willow fig leaves, to show Lord Ellpus, when suddenly my head snapped back and I uttered, "Damn, Gus, am I seeing Melampsora epitea on those leaves?"

It shook me.

But I believe I am correct.
