After your divorce I will most certainly marry you, Ellpus!
Can I make a samosa?: I probably
could, but why would I bother with all the excellent Indian eateries around the place that make such things? Samosas are
very time consuming to make, say nothing of messy & I have a very small kitchen. (I think it was designed for a midget!)
However, Madhur taught me a hell of a lot about making a decent curry or dal, about spices & how to use them, about how to get things
just right. You have to understand that I was a very new vegetarian (in desperate need of decent home cooking ideas) when I first encountered her excellent, user-friendly cook books. She was an inspiration, I can tell you! (And the cause of very cluttered spice shelves for the rest of my life, I'm certain!)
