I saw the Da vinci Code yesterday and I thought it was good.
It was a perfect visual interpretation of the book.
If youve read the book there are no surprises, if you havnt then it is a 'wordy' thriller.
Hanks didnt appeal to me to begin with but by the end i was convinced he was right for the role.
The added bonuses were the flashbacks to Biblical times and when they were talking about Isaac Newton they were panning London and ghostly figures appeared lining the streets, also other special effects were added but didnt take over the film.
The characters seemed very representative of the audience.
Ian Mckellens character was obsessed by the new revelations.
Tom Hanks character didnt really believe it and Audrey Tautou was undecided. No religious facts were thrown at you but it merely suggested an alternate story of Jesus' life.
I thSir Isaac Newton was a Rosicrusian, a mason, so are Voltaire, Leonardo DaVinci, George Washington, etc.
Im gona have to look up what a Rosicrusian is.
