Using compressed air to clean computer innards

Reply Sun 14 May, 2006 12:23 pm
When I opened the computer yesterday I found incredible amounts of dust all over - dust bunnies, dust mice, in short, total dust coating. Is compressed air the best way to clean this up?

If so, is there any special way to do it? Any specific amount of pressure in the can of air?

I'm not dust-phobic, but after 5 years of use I do think attention must be paid.

My stepson who trouble-shoots computer problems for the county cleans dirty innards with canned, compressed air.
