Ul - you are richtig....

------------

Santa Fe, New Mexico is the highest state capital at 7,000 feet above sea level.

Sante Fe is also the only State Capital with no regularly scheduled commercial airline service.

Santa Fe was founded in 1607 making it the oldest continuously occupied state capital.

ul, I think your little one's makeup is great - it should show very well on stage.

Yep, sumac,
That is one of the earliest areas occupied by Europeans in N Am. The road from Santa Fe to what is now Mexico City, Mexico is one of the very first roads by Europeans in USA.

I was told that fact in Santa Fe, but I wasn't sure about the airline service.

Question:

Only Europeans around, Ul.

Mazunte, Oaxaca, Mexico homes "El centro Mexicano de la Tortuga".

(Mexican Center of Turtle).

Mazunte is a small Pacific coast community to the west of Puerto Angel and Pochutla, Oaxaca.

A friend of mine started a "school-project" several years ago. She raises money to pay for the education of several indigenous children.
We started in 2000 with 2 children, now we can support 18.

Sehr schönes Projekte, Ul!

That's nice you're helping those kids!

Your answer is also correct but I was thinking about the last refuge for "Bighorn sheep".

Ah, I've been there (Anza Borrego) not too long ago. Beautiful area,
and around 100 F these days...

Ul, we do similar projects in Mexico, but closer to the border where we
physically can go there and drop off food and clothes. It's a great way
for "our" kids to develop a social conscience and help where needed.

Thanks, Francis.

It is too far away to visit them often. My friend goes every summer to check out what's happening. My class exchanges letters and does some fund raising- like theater plays, or bazaars.

Easy again.Thinking of cleanliness.
