You have reminded me of my youth - surrounded by wooded hills - I would spend my time in the woods with nothing but the animals. I had a favorite spot deep away from everything that made noise - a huge tree branch across a quietly running stream that I would actually lay on and wait for the woods to either accept me or ignore me - I never could decide which. However, after about 10-15 mins usually the woods would begin to come back to life after the silence I always met in the beginning. It was an interesting time.
