Create keyboard

Hi

Can anyone help me. I want to create my own keyboard. What are the things I need. Every keyboard has its own circuit board. Do I need to know how to design the circuit board? After circuit board is done. What should I do. Do I've to create a driver or software for it.

Please help. Thanks.

Are you doing this for a school assignment? If not, there is a lot of work involved for something that you could buy, ready made, rather cheaply.

You certainly need a driver, and software for it. So in addition to the electronic stuff, you need to learn how to program. Unless you are doing this as a class assignment, it really does not pay for you do do it yourself.

Now, if you wanted to build a custom computer, THAT would be a worthwhile project.
