Look into the pond traveller,
And as the ripples fade to show,
the reflection in the mirror,
The clear water that shows shadows
Of the gold you seek from this world,
The jewel of your existence,
Do not tear through that blessed map,
Do not attempt to find a chest,
Within the sunless recesses,
Of that empty hole of a pond,
Do not drown in its labyrinth.
See what the mirror is showing,
Mona Lisa within our life,
We are at the x on the map,
Our destination around us,
The greatest of truth and meaning
Enjoyed reading this.
Very reflective.
And I've always had a soft spot for the Mona Lisa.
