LCL strain and (some kind of) effusion on my knee...

LCL strain and (some kind of) effusion on my knee... can the injury be fully recovered? Permanent? I hope not.

I know you guys aren't doctors... still anyway to treat it for free? My doc recommended that I iced it and tensor wrap it and put less stress on it... I've done that for a couple of months.

When I stopped icing it though the pain came back... and the tensor wrap isn't as effective any more (how often should I replace it?)

I feel on the back of my knee the "vein" buldges out more on the right knee than the left...

I was just wondering if one of those complex atheletic therapist treatments would work? I'll do whatever it takes to get my left knee fully (100%) healed even if it costs a lot as long as it works.

I heard basketball players in particular former player Todd McCulloch (something like that...) treated his foot/leg injury with a complicated machine. Anybody know what I'm talking about? Thanks
