How to be recognized as Administrator

I tried downloading "Luxor" (a really fun game, BTW) but although I could download the free trial version, the full version download would not complete. I contacted the game company, and they said that unless I was the Administrator, the game wouldn't load.

But I AM the Administrator. I am the owner and only user of a non-network (except for my ISP, Comcast.Net) computer. I checked Control Panel>User
Accounts, and there's my name as Administrator.

Any ideas on how to get this game to recognize my Adminstrator status?

And I blame dlowan for sucking me into this situation - I would never have known about Luxor otherwise. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

If you have administrative rights in windows, the only thing that I can think is that the program itself is not correctly asking windows for the credentials. If that is the case, nothing you can do about it except try a different version.
