XII Catastrophe and War


i Natural disaster

1) The Physical plane, because of its nature, is constantly in a state of evolutionary change.

2) Man's relationship to "natural disasters" is as a bystander who is either prepared or unprepared for the changes that the physical plane endures.

3) The earth environment is subject to the effects caused by earthquakes, volcanos, storms, wind and water erosion, etc.

4) The fact that life gets destroyed during some natural disasters is of no consequence in the course of reality. It fulfills its purpose.

5) Entities, by choice, whether by action or by inaction, choose their situation in time and place in relation to natural disasters.


ii War and rebellion

1) Entities have the right to rebel against unjust government or domination.

2) When no alternative exists, civil war becomes the only answer.

3) At times countries become involved in war for reasons good and bad.

4) Though war is not a desirable element of an entity's experience, many are forced by their peers into serving as participants.

5) The fact that an entity does battle in war or rebellion, no matter on which side, does not of itself necessarily effect the entity's growth record.

6) It is the entity's intentions, such as malice or benevolence, in its actions that determines the effect on its growth record.

7) In all types of killing it is the entity's motive that determines the justification of the killing and the effect on its growth record.



We should be in Harmony

If you're in my here and now,
Then it is certainly meant to be;
That for this moment, at this time,
We should be in Harmony.

Why? You ask. What is the reason?
That "fate" has brought us near;
Well, the only way we're going to know,
Is by listening - until we hear.

The purpose may be for you,
Or maybe even me;
Or maybe even someone else,
Whom we may not yet see.

But our meeting which brings together,
A fruition of our being;
Is meant to be of benefit,
In helping someone else to seeing.

For we all are our brothers' keepers,
Enlightening and guiding their way;
As we strive to fulfill our charge,
To gather back together - Whole someday.

But grant to each their individuality,
Their right to choose their path alone;
For though the roads may twist and turn,
All roads eventually do lead Home!
