Well you have to admit there's a pretty strong case. The Parisian sparrows have gone. You live in Paris. Therefore you must have murdered them. And you never actually denied piaficide, therefore you did it. What did you do with the body(s)? Dont try and say they flew away, because we all know dead birds dont fly. Or walk.

did you paint that Francis? No sparrow killer could have made that. You are clearly innocent. I'm sorry if I inadvertently said you were a mass murderer. It was an easy mistake to make, the evidence seemed overwhelming. I will of course make recompense when we come over to Paris...sometime
